Shown "Wallpaper Mutation" Project

Projects Shown
In their issue #48/1989, the German newspaper DIE ZEIT published an article about the ongoing research of Russian scientist Vladimir Shevchenko into the effects of the nuclear fallout after the nuclear accident in Chernobyl
Shevchenko submitted a photograph showing mutations in oak-leaves. I took this photograph as a template to create a stamp showing the silhouettes of the different leaf-formations. I then created wallpaper using this stamp and green ink.
For the group show "Venire Alle Mani" I chose a window at the front in the building facing the adjacent park and treated it with my wallpaper.
